What is Sedum?
Great question! Sedum is a low growing perennial (evergreen) plant that means you don't have to spend your time maintaining it. You don't have to mow it like you would grass (more on this) which makes it great for hard to access places such as roofs. There are different types of Sedum, here is a breakdown of the main species (complete with Latin names and pictures!):
