Client background:

Amber Petroleum was established in Fermoy Co .Cork by the Fitzgerald family in 1980.  It has become one of the largest indigenous oil companies in the Munster region and beyond, with a successful, dynamic and growing network of service stations. They recently extended their flagship store in Fermoy in 2015, to expand their seating area for the restaurant.

Scope of works:

Living Walls Ltd were very excited at the prospect of working with Amber Fuels largely because it is the first indoor wall of this size using the ANS Living Wall modular system.  The wall is 6m2 containing nine different species of indoor plants.  The living wall is recessed into the wall giving the wall that extra three dimensional look. When designing the wall we worked very closely with the client to see what colours and design they required.

Amber is absolutely delighted with the outcome of the living wall. It is a huge bonus to overall feel of the premises and for me it has desired effect that I was looking for. Many customers coming into the store both existing and new have an opinion on the wall and the curiosity value and reaction is fantastic
